Hey there! I’m Minda.
Welcome to my personal finance, family and lifestyle blog for MOMS!
As a mom, you may have troubles managing your money and juggling your family and work life. You may be struggling with raising one, two or more young kids all the while trying to have a career and manage a household. You worry about your debts, wondering how to save enough money to take your kids on an awesome trip, saving up for their education, or maybe you want to buy a new home. You are striving to find ways to dampen the chaos so that you can enjoy life a little more.
Family and Parenting
As a mom of three young kids, I know what it feels like to try to get through your day. My life has been absolutely crazy the past 8 years and I keep wondering if life will ever settle down. Every day there is chaos, noise, mess and the thought “is it bedtime yet?” Every time I have gone back to work after a maternity leave, it got harder to juggle family and work life.
My hubby and I work hard to balance our careers and create a good home environment for our family. I’m working on improving both my mental and physical health so that I can take better care of my family. I’m finding ways to make family life:
Easier – by simplifying
Effective – making the tasks and activities you do count and worth it
Efficient – do it all in the shortest amount time
I have more time to focus on things that are important to me. I have stories and tips that I have learned on the way (and still learning!) about family life and parenting that I want to share with you on this blog.
PERSONAL FINANCE
Ever since my early 20’s I’ve had an interest in personal finance. It amazes me how little of it is taught in school. I would’ve appreciated a course on mortgages, RRSPs, interest, debt and what financial independence is. Can you imagine how different the world could be if people understood more about money? With better financial education, perhaps there would be fewer people in debt, fewer people living paycheque to paycheque and perhaps less poverty.
My passion is to inspire moms to take control of your finances, to learn more about money and hopefully you will make changes in your life so you can retire early! Life is way too short to work until you are 65. I believe that if you have good control over your money, you can have the financial means to spend your time with those and doing things that are most important to you.
I have been working on my family’s wealth plan in hopes that we can do the same. I want to share my money mistakes, my money strategies and my money dreams with you. Let’s make managing our money easier, effective and efficient.
About Me
I’m a mother of three and a wife to a game loving engineer. We are raising our family in Canada. I’m a pharmacist working at a cancer center and every day that I work there, I am reminded that life is too short and we must make the most of it. I love to organize, I love pretty boxes and I recently found my passion in blogging. I don’t like to cook and thus this blog won’t be about food!
I am on a journey to find ways to make our family life and finances: EASIER, EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT
I look forward to hearing and getting to you know you too! Feel free to message me or connect with me through social media.
